This is q great helmet compared to the standard oos school ones but im telling you now it's not at all easy to reassemble them once they are pulled apart ive got big hands which made it extremely difficult to get into all those tight areas

Best helmet in welding I wish optrel made something like this. Last week this helmet saved my face I was using cutting disc at work cutting a metal piece off the metal post at face level while standing on a ladder and had a strong cutting disc kickback to the face luckily i was wearing the g5-01vc. Still have the cut mark on the helmet.

For the price they are junk, everyone of these helmets at work have had broken hinges,the auto darkening part has like a rainbow colours through it and not crystal clear,the auto darkening lenses keep stuffing up due to the heat(we do heavy welding). batteries that don't charge up after only a few months of use,not to mention the massive rip off the parts are and the filters etc....we have over 25 people using these in our workshop and can see a pattern of the parts that don't last.

Lol, my grind button does not work that well. Maybe I’m using it wrong but it always requires two hands to push. Like the previous commenter said, there should still be arc detection in grind mode just in case you forget.
